They are stored in files named something like "PART_1228000671287", with no extension.

To see what type of files they are, you can run this command on the phone (assuming you have RC30 v1.2).

sqlite3 -header /data/data/com.android.providers.telephony/databases/mmssms.db "SELECT _data, ct FROM part;"

The first column is the full path to the file, and the 2nd column is the mime type of the file

Android locator 5yu

That early-morning scramble to find your keys before you leave the house doesn't have to be so frantic if you've got a wireless key finder handy. No bigger than a standard key chain — and even smaller, in some cases — these dongles connect to your smartphone via Bluetooth LE to alert you when your keys are nearby or in danger of being left behind.

Plenty of key finders promise to keep your valuables close at hand, but after putting a variety of devices through their paces, we continue to be impressed by the latest iteration of Tile's $25 tracker. The Tile Mate retains the great features of its predecessor — good range and a helpful two-way finding feature that lets you locate your phone from your key chain — and delivers them in a more compact device.

Thanks to regular updates that have added features like Alexa compatibility, the $29 TrackR Bravo is our new runner-up. (We had a good experience with our previous second choice, the $29 Duet by Protag , but the mobile app that accompanies that key finder has gone a year between updates.) We were also impressed by the improvements in the $25 Chipolo Plus , which adds a clickable button that makes it much easier to access that key finder's features, which include two-way finding and the ability to double as a remote shutter for your phone's camera.
